Curiously, I woke up this morning with a burning desire to watch Saving Private Ryan. I felt unusually emotional watching it, considering I'd seen the movie many times before. After finishing the movie, I decided to look up the date.

Today, July 31, is the 67th anniversary of the end of the the D-Day Normandy Invasion. The final 5 days were called Operation Cobra. This day must have been a relief to the soldiers. I don't know why I was "sensitive" to this day. But what a coincidence…
